CREDENTIALS

Dina Silberstein is the Founder & Principal of DJS Consulting NYC, LLC. Dina has over 12 years of experience as a real estate and construction professional. She has a diverse background including a BFA in Interior Design and an MBA in Real Estate.

Previously, Dina was an Assistant Director within Brookfield Property Partner’s Construction Division. Dina was a part of the team that managed the repositioning and construction of Five Manhattan West (450 West 33rd Street) including the re-cladding of the building exterior, perimeter restoration of each floor (due to the new facade) and construction of the outdoor Breezeway/Retail Complex. Dina also managed the interior consolidation and renovation projects of existing tenants within Five Manhattan West including GMHC, FISA and multi-tenant floor common corridors. Dina then managed the construction and build-out of The Eugene – 435 West 31st Street – Brookfield’s first residential property, which included 844 apartments and 50,000 SF of amenities space. She tracked and maintained the project schedule and budget and managed the close out process of the entire building. Five Manhattan West and The Eugene are located within Brookfield's greater Manhattan West Development site on the far west side of Manhattan.

Prior to Brookfield, Dina was a project manager within CBRE's revamped Project Management Team. During her time at CBRE, Dina managed the renovation and relocation of various clients including Yamaha Artist Services (YASI), Specialist Staffing Solutions (Three), The Worth Collection, Ltd. and Morningstar, Inc. As a project manager Dina, managed each of the projects’ budgets, schedules, consultant/construction management procurement, day to day project requirements and quality and risk mitigation/management throughout all phases of the projects. Dina has experience in coordinating the review and inspection process with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Quality Assurance Division and the World Trade Center Redevelopment Department. Lastly, Dina was a part of the team that successfully managed the build out of the Port Authority's new offices as the anchor tenant at Four World Trade Center.

After graduate school, Dina lived in Tel Aviv, Israel. Upon her return, she wanted to recapture the life changing experience she had while living abroad, as well as give back to her community. As a result, she became highly involved with many non-profit organizations in New York City. Dina currently services as an executive board member on the Anti-Defamation League’s Next Generation Philanthropy Board, is a member of the Young Jewish Professionals Group, serves on the host committee of VVA’s Toy Drive to benefit HELP USA and is the Co-Chair for St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters’ Cycle for Hunger Event. In Dina’s spare time, she enjoys art museums, photography, theater/Broadway shows and loves to travel the world and experience new cultures.
